This series will capture the transformation of rural land on Quarry Road into a 132,425SF three-story storage facility.

What a difference a month makes! If you haven't driven Sweetwater Road lately along Quarry Road and the new "development", you will be amazed at the changes.

Every inch of ground has been dug up, rearranged, carried off and recreated. The site is no longer recognizable as what it once looked like above. Dump truck after dump truck carried away the existing clay, only to be replaced by more workable soil and gravel.

Be careful when you drive down Quarry Road. You wouldn't want to crash through the chainlink fence and land in that huge hole! See those ginormous piles of beautiful dirt? They were all brought it.

Check out the size of those enormous conduits, this is one big job! And those piles of rock were all dug up on the site!

Another huge hole and all the dump trucks parked on Sweetwater Road . . . waiting for the next workday to begin. That chainlink fence separates the site from Sunnyside Stables. The construction plans showed the removal of those property line trees but the Stables asked for them to stay.

Lots of DANGER signs . . . I wonder if they were put up first or there was some type of incident. They weren't there last month and there were plenty of earth-movers on site.

Quarry Road looks so tiny with all the BIG construction going on right next to it.
