Three horses—with three different personalities—play in the arena at Rohr Park. Notice how many people stop to take in the beauty of these magnificent creatures.
The Rohr Park Horse Arena is a treasure to the Bonita-Sunnyside community as a whole.
First to the equestrians who use the arena to turn out their animals (let them run freely) for exercise but also for unbridled play.
And second to those who come across this unexpected activity while enjoying the walking trails. They get to watch the antics of a equestrian playground, allowing them a peek into the world of horses which they may have no other way to enter.
Those who own horses and those who do not, the wonderful symbiotic relationship that exists between them and rewards both groups in ways they couldn't imagine. They come together in the knowledge that horse-at-home or not, horses may be loved and enjoyed by all.
