What's Going On at Bonita Golf Course?
What's all the activity over at the Bonita Golf Course?
I've received several requests to report on this and it was unfortunately put in the "future articles" file. Kudos to the Common Sense reader who just send you all some timely answers!
Irrigation Project Underway
Exciting news! We are currently undergoing a course-wide irrigation project to provide even better turf for your golf experience.
To expedite and make the process as smooth as possible for all, our tee time course may vary depending on the day - call the Pro Shop for more information! Meanwhile, the driving range and the Clubhouse (Ballroom, Bar & Grill, and Pro Shop) are up and running as usual!
Feel free to call us for day-to-day updates that may affect your golf round.
Bear with us as we continue to improve and create the best possible experience for YOU!

Battery Energy Storage Systems
The District continued implementation of the County's updated BESS guidance. The Bonita Golf Course project includes a photovoltaic system and a 153-kWh battery energy storage system. Jensen Hughes is conducting the technical review; the District retains approval authority, and County Planning & Development Services review is also required.
