"Multi-use trails in San Diego County can be a challenge at times when you combine horses, bikers, joggers and walkers - not to mention the width or the slope of the trail. Six years ago, four of us from Bonita Valley Horsemen acted the equestrian parts in this short County video.
The video gives information on sharing the trail and how to handle interactions between bikers, walkers, runners and horses.
Remember the three Cs: Be Courteous, Be Cautious and Communicate.

And it's important to remember, horses have the right-of-way over bikers, runners and walkers. This is noted on the trail signs.

Hope these tips help next time you're on the trail!
