SCPG to Appoint Ad Hoc Committees for Storm Water and Rural Residential Zoning

The Sweetwater Community Planning Group will be meeting this Tuesday, May 6th, at the Bonita-Sunnyside Fire Station. All are invited to join us at 4900 Bonita Road at 7pm.
The big action item is the appointment of Ad Hoc Committees and Chairs for Sweetwater Community Storm Water Drainage Issues and Rural Residential Zoning Ordinances.
The Storm Water Drainage Committee will be looking into all the entities illegally dumping water into the normally dry San Miguel Creek and what can be done about it.
The Rural Residential Zoning Committee will be investigating ways to prevent future projects occurring in the rural residential areas like the massive Secure Self Storage that the Board of Supervisors allowed in defiance of our Sweetwater Design Guidelines.
Community members are invited to make public comment about concerns or ask for items to be added to future SCPG agendas during Item 4 of the meeting.
