The Sweetwater Community Planning Group has just posted Tuesday's agenda on the County website. The community might be interested in Action Item 6.
The language of the Action Item is a little unclear so I will translate for you. The Bonita Valley Horsemen have written to the Sweetwater Community Planning Group (and the SVCA) asking for support in penning a letter to Chula Vista Mayor John McCann. The letter would request the Mayor leave the Rohr Park Arena in place in the Rohr Park Master Plan and not remove it.
Mieka Portier, on behalf of the Bonita Valley Horsemen, writes:
This is a wonderful opportunity for people who were not allowed their turn to speak at the Rohr Park Master Plan meeting to be heard. You will be allowed a full three minutes.
The Sweetwater Valley Civic Association (SVCA) has their meeting the following evening, December 03, 2025. They will be discussing the letter also . . . another 3 minutes to speak!
