RVs Starting to Pile Up on Sweetwater Road Near the County Animal Shelter

A few years back, San Miguel Road homeowners were having a big problem with RVs parking on their residential road. They weren't just parking them there, they were living in them.
Naked people and unleashed dogs were regularly encountered on the horse trails by the road. RV inhabitants thought they were camping, yet were avoiding the fee at the local campground. One never knew what to expect when coming around an RV to take a walk on the trail.
The dilemma got so back that several meetings were set up with the County in order to rectify the situation.
Relief was found when the County installed No Parking signs along SMR on both sides. Now you hardly every see an unclad person on the trails.
Currently there are two or three consistently parked RVs on Sweetwater Road, right by the County Animal Shelter. After the last tagging, one of them left. I don't see any evidence of camping so I think they are just using the space to dodge a rental fee somewhere.
Sweetwater is a long road so we'll see how many end up with there before they are chased off. Good news of a freebie travels quickly. There are no homes on that part of Sweetwater Road so they're not really bothering anyone.

Besides, the Quarry Self-Storage Facility—presently under construction—has been parking their dump trucks on Sweetwater rather than on Quarry Road. Sweetwater has become their private parking area.
I bet the new homeowners on Carriage Hill will be glad when that project is complete.
