Welcome to Sunnyside Common Sense!
This online community newspaper has been active for about a year now and over 500 items have been written. I publish the paper five days a week, Monday – Friday, and try to write or find items that are of interest to Bonita-Sunnyside and the surrounding communities.
Here’s a sampling of some items that were published:
(06.05.25)
All Aboard! (06.03.25)
Man Finds Heartfelt Note in Mailbox From Firefighters Who Saved His Home During Palisades Fire (02.12.25)
Approximately one year ago, you signed a form requesting to be emailed the Sunnyside Common Sense online newspaper. Some of you have mentioned that you are not receiving the newspaper that is sent in a daily email. You should receive one email each day with three news items inside. We have discovered that though the emails have been sent, your email provider is blocking them before they arrive in your box.
Why You’re Not Seeing Our Emails (and How to Fix It)
Email providers like Gmail, Cox, and Yahoo have filters in place to protect you from spam. But sometimes, those filters can get a little too strict and send legit messages (like ours!) to your Spam, Promotions, or Junk folders by mistake.
This doesn’t mean we’re spamming you — it just means these systems are being extra cautious.
The good news: You can easily fix this in just a few steps. Once you do, you’ll never miss out on our updates again!
See the instructions below to make sure you don’t miss a single email in the future. Find your email provider below and follow the simple directions!
