A new bus service, Route 910, will begin operating at 12:30 a.m. and run until 5:00 a.m., providing 24/7 public transportation access for residents and visitors in San Ysidro, South San Diego and downtown.
Route 910 will offer overnight bus service, connecting the U.S.-Mexico border with downtown San Diego during the hours when the UC San Diego Blue Line Trolley is not in service. Buses will run every 30 minutes, stopping at key locations, including San Ysidro, South San Diego, Chula Vista, National City, Barrio Logan, and downtown San Diego.
Fare Information
The service will follow standard public transit fares:
$2.50 per ride for adults
$1.25 for seniors, disabled passengers, and Medicare beneficiaries
Expanded Airport Bus Service
In addition to Route 910, the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) is also extending service hours for Route 992, which connects downtown San Diego to the San Diego International Airport. Trips from downtown to the airport will now start at 4:15 a.m.
These transit service expansions aim to provide better mobility options, particularly for those traveling during late-night and early-morning hours.
