Do You Know What PFAS Are?

I thought you would be interested in a community meeting taking place this week. Sweetwater Authority will present about PFAS (commonly called "forever chemicals") this Tuesday, January 27 at 5 p.m.  I understand the latest test results will be presented and an update on the Authority's progress to identify a treatment solution will be provided. 

I encourage you to attend and learn more about the status of this topic. While RSVPs are encouraged for planning purposes, they are not required since this is a public meeting. 

Please join us for our upcoming Community Advisory Work Group (CAWG) meeting.

The meeting will include a PFAS update and an overview of ongoing efforts to protect water quality and ratepayers.
