Traffic control performed five times at Sunnyside Elementary

5 active patrol members

4 citations issued (mostly expired registration and parking in red zones)


The speed trailer is inoperative and expected to be repaired soon.


The San Diego County Sheriff's Department Volunteer Sheriff's Patrol (VSP) is looking for citizens 50 years and older who want to serve their community by promoting safety and crime prevention programs. Duties range from traffic control, patrolling neighborhoods, home vacation checks, clerical work and checking on the welfare of elderly or disabled people.
