Van Strikes and Kills Man Walking Down Bonita Road

A man was struck and killed by a minivan Friday night according to California Highway Patrol. The man was hit around 7:30 pm on Bonita Road, just west of Willow Street. He died before he could be taken to the hospital. His name was not released until family could be notified. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
