Thursday, October 9, 2025 - Speaker Chuck Kaye, StarPal Chair

Mr. Chuck Kaye is the Board Chair for StarPal.org.
"RECOGNIZING THE POTENTIAL IN SAN DIEGO’S YOUTH-This community is full of talent and potential—kids and teens with great ideas, passionate souls, and enormous dreams. But under-resourced areas like ours can present roadblocks that stop our most promising achievers from realizing their goals and dreams. STAR/PAL is a not-for-profit organization devoted to removing those obstacles to help our young people thrive. Law enforcement personnel work through STAR/PAL as volunteers to forge mentorships, friendships, and lifelong support networks for San Diego’s youth. The connections built here open doors, grow minds, and inspire new ideas that shine a light into a world of possibilities.StarPal is a nonprofit organization that focuses on cops and kids. They are best known for their annual Shop with a Cop event." —Star/Pal Website
Chuck walks into the room and lights up the place with his energy and enthusiasm about their annual Shop with a Cop event!! His past experiences as the San Diego Chief of Police were interesting, exciting and funny. What a great way to start the morning!
Chuck also shared an upcoming Golf Tournament fund raiser they are having at Singing Hills (3007 Dehesa Road, El Cajon) on Friday, November 21, 2025.
Thursday, October 2, 2025 - Speaker Felix M. Felix, SVCA Chair

Felix M. Felix is the Board Chair for Sweetwater Valley Civic Association.
"We are an organization where passion, commitment and community pride come together. SVCA members have been working to preserve the rural character and independence of Bonita, an unincorporated community of San Diego County, since 1949. Today’s SVCA continues to monitor local issues. Our members also actively support and participate in the many different events, organizations, clubs, and activities available across this region."—Sweetwater Valley Civic Association website
Thank you, Mr. Felix, for the wonderful ideas about working with other service organizations! Together we are Stronger!
