The Bonita Optimist Club (BOC) meets on Thursday mornings at 7am for their Breakfast Meeting. The meeting is held at the Provence House, 4370 Sweetwater Road, Bonita.

Speakers for the last two meetings were Chuck Kaye and Felix M. Felix.

Mr. Chuck Kaye is the Board Chair for StarPal.org .

Chuck walks into the room and lights up the place with his energy and enthusiasm about their annual Shop with a Cop event!! His past experiences as the San Diego Chief of Police were interesting, exciting and funny. What a great way to start the morning!

Chuck also shared an upcoming Golf Tournament fund raiser they are having at Singing Hills (3007 Dehesa Road, El Cajon) on Friday, November 21, 2025.

Felix M. Felix is the Board Chair for Sweetwater Valley Civic Association.
