Photo Testament to City-Created ‘Slumification’ of San Diego

Re “San Diego City Council will reconsider key ADU incentive in unexpected shift from pro-housing stance” (Jan. 30): I literally became nauseous looking at the photo of the ADU abomination in Clairemont that accompanied this article on the front page of the Union-Tribune. Imagine if this was on your street. Often people have worked their entire lives to buy their dream home in one of San Diego’s beautiful, quiet single- family home communities and they want it to stay that way. What is so hard to understand about this? Call me NIMBY or whatever, I’ll wear it proudly. This must be stopped immediately and any elected official that allows this to continue should be removed from office. The slumification of San Diego must stop!
