54 horses rescued from Villa Chardonnay in Julian were moved to Willow Glen Equestrian Centre

After months of care and recovery, 35 horses from our Julian Rescue are now available for adoption and ready to begin their next chapter. They are looking for patient, compassionate and experienced horse owners who can provide the time, understanding and care they need to continue healing.

These horses have experienced neglect, and many have ongoing medical or behavioral needs. It’s important to note that that many may never be suitable for riding, and these horses are being adopted as companion animals rather than riding or working horses. What they all need most is a safe home where they can continue to receive the love and care they deserve.

Interested adopters will be asked to complete an application so our team can match each horse with the home that best fits their individual needs.
