"This scheduled endorsement meeting notice below needs to get out to the Eastlake/Bonita community and SWA ratepayers interested in eradicating the illicit governing practices at SWA. A delay in the consideration of these friendly endorsements is warranted until there has been a full and transparent vetting of these candidates. There may be other candidates willing to serve our ratepayers with integrity, good governance, and transparency."—Common Sense Reader

EDITOR'S NOTE: I tried to add a little additional information but it's not yet available. It's too early for Ballotpedia and others to have any facts up about the next election. This is all I could find from the 2018 election. The 2022 election was cancelled and both Steve Castaneda and Hector Martinez were automatically reinstalled as incumbents.

Steve Castaneda is a member of the South Bay Irrigation District in California, representing District 1. Castaneda assumed office in 2014. Castaneda's current term ends on December 4, 2026.
Castaneda won re-election to the South Bay Irrigation District to represent District 1 in California outright after the general election on November 8, 2022, was canceled.
Castaneda was a 2013 Democratic candidate in the special election for District 80 of the California State Assembly.[1]

Hector Martinez is a member of the South Bay Irrigation District in California, representing District 4. He assumed office in 2018. His current term ends on December 4, 2026.
Martinez won re-election to the South Bay Irrigation District to represent District 4 in California outright after the general election on November 8, 2022, was canceled.

Delfina Gonzalez is the President of the Eastlake-Bonita Democratic Club.
Gonzalez is a member of the Otay Water District Governing Board in California, representing Division 2. She assumed office on December 6, 2024. Her current term ends on December 1, 2028.
Gonzalez also ran for election to the Chula Vista City Council to represent District 4 in California. She lost in the primary on March 5, 2024.
