Welcome to Sunnyside Common Sense! This online community newspaper has been active for about a year now and over 500 items have been written. I publish the paper five days a week, Monday – Friday, and try to write or find items that are of interest to Bonita-Sunnyside and the surrounding communities. Yesterday I met with Administrator Lee Zeldin, head of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, to push for urgent federal action on the Tijuana River pollution crisis. Why does that matter to you? Because toxic air, sewage contamination, and years of beach closures aren’t policy debates - they’re a daily health risk for South Bay families, and our community has waited far too long for real solutions. That’s why I was clear with the EPA: we need action now. While
