World Kindness Week -- Bonita Optimist Chalk Art Day -- Saturday, November 16th at Rohr Park

The Bonita Optimist Club participated in World Kindness Week alongside Altrusa and other South Bay service organizations to spread kindness throughout the community this last weekend. As part of their efforts, the Bonita Optimist Club hosted a Chalk Art Day at Rohr Park, inviting children to create cheerful messages and vibrant chalk art along the pathways for the community to enjoy. The event was sponsored by the Bonita Optimists, supported by the Junior Optimists of Eastlake HS and drew participation from many children in the Bonita and South Bay communities.

The afternoon was a great success, with attendees enjoying the crisp fall weather, playing in the colorful tree leaves, and embracing the spirit of kindness and creativity. The positive response to the chalk art added to the joy of the occasion, making it a memorable celebration of World Kindness Week.
