The Public is Invited to a Tour & Inspection of the New Central Wheeler Tank

This Thursday—June 11, 2026—the Board of Sweetwater Authority will hold a Special Meeting ending with a tour of the new Central Wheeler Tank.

The meeting will begin at 3PM at the Administration Office, 505 Garrett Avenue in Chula Vista, including an opportunity for public comments on agenda item 3.4.

The Board will then depart to the Central Wheeler Tank—located at San Miguel Rd and Camp Ground Road, Bonita, 91902—for the purpose of inspecting the Central Wheeler Tank facilities.

Board members should arrive at the Central Wheeler Tank at approximately 4:15 or 4:30PM.

You can follow the live meeting to get a better sense of departure time from the SWA offices, then allow for plus or minus 20 minutes of travel time for the Board to reach the Tank site.

Members of the public may attend the tour.

The topics raised and discussed during the tour will be limited to items directly related to the facilities being inspected.
