Rohr Park Master Planning Update

This month, the City of Chula Vista Parks & Recreation Department is creating draft park alternatives for their Rohr Park Master Plan with the ideas and priority rankings received from the public by June 30, 2025. Some of those enhancement ideas are:
1. Nature play area or adventure playground
2. Outdoor amphitheater / stage
3. Public art installations
4. Additional shade structures or public areas
5. Educational or interpretive signage
6. Central Plaza
7. Separate areas for large and small dogs
8. Community gardens
9. Expanded walking / biking trails / Native planting
10. Pickleball courts
11. More restrooms or upgraded bathroom facilities
Mark your calendars! The public meeting to present the draft Rohr Park Master Plan alternatives is on Thursday August 14, 2025 5:30PM at the Chula Vista Municipal Golf Course.
