This past Saturday, the Bonita Valley Horsemen hosted a Pony & Goat Photo Booth. Well, just the pony came to the event so it was actually just a Pony Photo Booth. The goats were acting lame so they were left at home.
The star of the show was Oreo. You could pet him, kiss him or just take a photo with him. Oreo is owned by Caitlyn Strickland.

Mieka Portier, Vice President of BVH, ran the event. President Janeen Reed was there and kept busy managing Oreo.

Mieka Portier, Barbara Amalfitano, Karen Schneider and Cindy Haltermann took turns manning the table. Drinks and snacks were sold. They also had T-shirts for sale and sold five of them!

Here's Janeen holding on to Oreo with a rope while member Karen Schneider rewards him with a hay bag.

Luis and Aaneta De La Rosa brought their three kiddos—Nelly, Leilana and Dominik. Dad Luis told me "Nelly was like can I ride that to school?"
The event was held from 8 - 10 in the morning. It was set up right next to the horse arena at Rohr Park. This was the third time that BVH had the booth out and it's always a big success.
I asked if they will be doing it again.
"We will do it again. It's always a winner. People asked if we were there every week. They love the pony!"—Janeen Reed, President of Bonita Valley Horsemen
People were very interested in keeping up the trails. Bonita Valley Horsemen have been maintaining the trails for years. Over $500 in donations were generously given to help the cause.
