"Pet a Pony" Event at Rohr Park Horse Arena

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 27th! That's the day you can come with your kiddos (or solo) and pet a pony or a goat. The event runs from 8am - 10am at Rohr Horse Arena.

The entrance to the Horse Arena parking lot is located at approximately 4741 Sweetwater Road and just east of Bonita Valley Baptist Church (which is on the opposite side of the street). It will look like the photo above.

Have you ever petted a pony before? It is wonderful and will do your soul good!

The "Pet a Pony" event is put on by the Bonita Valley Horsemen and is one of their most successful events!

Who are the Bonita Valley Horsemen? According to their website, "BVH was started in 1969, with 25 founding members/families. The club has been responsible for the development of major trails and trail-user amenities in Bonita. All trail users—equestrians, bicyclists, walkers, hikers and runners—benefit from our efforts."

"Bonita Valley Horsemen is a non-profit organization formed for the purpose of promoting the acquisition, development, preservation and maintenance of trails in the Bonita area in southern San Diego County. It is the only organization in the world with this sole purpose."—Bonita Valley Horsemen website

It's a FREE and fun event and a great way to introduce your children to friendly farm animals!
