Patricia Sue Reichart Milliken


August 7, 1941 - December 14, 2025





Patricia Sue Reichart Milliken passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, at the age of 84, following complications from Parkinson's disease.


Born on August 7, 1941, Patricia grew up in Valley Falls, Kansas, where she graduated from Valley Falls High School. She continued her education at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, and later earned her degree from Southwestern College in Chula Vista, California.


Patricia dedicated much of her professional life to serving others as an executive assistant, including 24 years with the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce. She approached her work with diligence, warmth, and quiet professionalism.


Outside of work, Patricia found joy in camping, hiking, and traveling, and she remained committed to staying active throughout her life. She was a devoted member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and P.E.O. Chapter OI and generously volunteered her time with the Bonita Friends of the Library Bookstore and the Living Coast Discovery Center. Patricia will be remembered for her steady presence, her commitment to community, and her deep care for family and friends.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie and Howard Reichart, and her sister, Mary Claire Wohlgemuth. She is lovingly remembered by her only son, Sean P. Milliken, of Ramona, California; her nephews Kirk (Ruth) Wohlgemuth of Effingham, Kansas, and Kent (Mary Beth) Wohlgemuth of Atchison, Kansas; six great-nieces and nephews; and nine great-great-nieces and nephews.


A memorial service will be held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Chula Vista, California, at 1:00 p.m. on January 30, 2026. Graveside services will take place at Coal Creek Cemetery in Valley Falls, Kansas, on April 19, 2026.


In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Patricia's memory to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
