This gorgeous Mama and her three kittens were spotted at the Volcan Mountain Wilderness Preserve in the East County of San Diego County. She is teaching her babies how to hunt and survive.
Mountain lions reproduce year round with a gestation period of three months. Litters range from 2-4 kittens, this Mama has three. Take note that mountain lions with offspring to protect tend to be more aggressive.
