It’s Time to Take Back the American Dream

For decades, politicians have made life harder for working families while the well-connected and powerful have grown richer. Today, kids are drowning in debt, seniors are barely hanging on, and families are being crushed by housing and rent costs—all while a select few rake in millions.
A new Investopedia study shows the “price of the American Dream” has now skyrocketed past $5 million.
That’s $600,000 more than just last year and nearly 50% higher than only two years ago. Just to live a normal life—buy a home, raise two kids, send them to college, retire with dignity—Americans are expected to come up with more than five million dollars.
Here are the numbers that matter most:
Retirement: $1.63 million.
Raising two kids and paying for college: $876,092.
Owning a home: increasingly out of reach for working families.
California families feel it even worse, with the highest energy and gasoline prices in the country making daily life more expensive.
This is not sustainable. Your country should work for you—not for BlackRock, not for Wall Street, not for career politicians who sold out decades ago. The American Dream shouldn’t be reserved for the wealthy few—it should be within reach for every hardworking family.
I’m running for Congress because I believe in a simple principle: government should work for the people, not the other way around. It’s time to take back control from the elites and restore opportunity for the middle class.
Let’s put the American people first.
