Nick Shirley is here in the San Diego area investigating San Diego daycare facilities whose children appear to be missing. One daycare did have two young children but no adult in sight.

He's also looking into hospice fraud. The "news" tonight showed his crew peering into the window of a hospice care facility that was completely void of furniture. Hmmmm, where are the beds?

"We ALL work way too hard and pay too much in taxes for this to be happening. These fraudsters have been able to defraud American taxpayers for years without any pushback from the public and politicians. It is time to EXPOSE IT ALL and end America's fraud crisis."—Nick Shirley

You might recognize the name Nick Shirley. He's the 23-year old independent journalist that has been breaking open the rampant fraud in federal childcare and hospice care funding in the last three months. His videos have exposed Minnesota fraud resulting in a loss of approximately $185 million in funding for that state.

Local Community Organizer and Investigator Amy Reichert contacted Nick and asked him to come take a look at California. It is estimated that California fraud will make Minnesota look like child's play, pun intended.

Reichert wrote the following on Facebook:

"Visited a San Diego daycare with @nickshirley that had 8 state inspection visits. Multiple health & safety code violations.

Here’s what @GavinNewsom doesn’t want you to know.

State records show a $4,000 fine for an uncleared assistant director present. Working without a background check.

(HSC § 1596.871(c)(1)(A), repeat violation.

Within weeks of the staggering fine, enrollment on paper tripled!

Inspection records show 5 children present but 39 listed as enrolled. Up from just 15 before the fine.

That same center is listed in state records as a backup facility tied to the UMI Learning Center case in 2024 involving Mohamed Muridi Mohamed, who was convicted and ordered to repay $3.7M related to falsified enrollment of 150 children."

Governor Gavin Newsom is not happy that Shirley is investigating California and finding things. The Gov responded to the investigation by name-calling Nick Shirley a pedophile and sending the following press office message out on social media.

Interesting. Shirley must be "right over the target" for Newsom to take such an aggressive (and defamatory) position. You'd think the Governor would be happy for someone to come to his state and rid it of fraud. Maybe it's a little too close for comfort and Newsom is concerned his own fraud might get exposed. Like that questionable $37 billion spent on homelessness since 2019 and an increase in homeless individuals.
