San Diego County will not be bullied into silence
We are suing Trump's DHS & ICE
On February 20, after receiving full clearance to investigate documented reports of medical neglect, contaminated food, and unsafe living conditions at the Otay Mesa Detention Center, Chair Lawson-and I were denied entry at the last minute.We are prepared to challenge this unlawful obstruction in court to ensure CoreCivic and ICE respect our clear legal authority to safeguard the health and safety of everyone within San Diego County’s jurisdiction.
