Did You Know That You Can Report Concerns to the County Ethics & Compliance Hotline?

Have you ever felt apprehensive about a San Diego County employee, contractor or program?
The County's Office of Ethics and Compliance details the following concerns that you may report if you encounter them:
Abuse of Authority—A County employee or contractor abuses their position for personal gain.
Accessibility—A County facility or service is not accessible or does not meet ADA requirements.
Conflict of Interest—A County employee or contractor has a conflict between their private interests and official responsibilities.
Contractor Fraud or Misconduct—A County contractor is fraudulent, careless, or deceptive.
Discrimination—A County employee or customer experiences discrimination based on a protected characteristic.
Financial Wrongdoing—A County employee or contractor is dishonest or wasteful with County funds.
Harassment—A County employee or customer is treated in a way that is intimidating or hostile based on a protected characteristic.
Privacy & Information Security—A County employee or contractor handles confidential information improperly or there is a data breach.
Policy Violations—A County employee or contractor violates a County policy.
Retaliation—A County employee is treated poorly for identifying or reporting misconduct or participating in an investigation.
Sexual Harassment—A County employee or customer experiences unwelcome sexual advances or other conduct of a sexual nature.
If you see or suspect misconduct, report it immediately.
Please report incidents of Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, Privacy / Confidentiality / Information Security, or Improper County Government Activity (to include fraud, waste and abuse, conflict of interest, etc.) using this webform.
Direct customer service or personnel matters to the applicable County department, program, or service.
This Hotline should not be used for emergencies.

When reporting anonymously, please save your Report Number and Access Code, and check back in the event additional information is needed.
