‘Champions’ Scheduled to be Off and Running Late October

The Chula Vista Champions 5K will take place at 8 a.m. Saturday, October 25, at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center, 2800 Olympic Parkway.
The event will feature food vendors, a DJ, children’s games and activities, a vendor expo and an opportunity drawing.
Registration is available from September 1 to October 23. Fees are $15 for ages 4-16 and $25 for ages 17 and older.
Day-of-race registration, October 24-25, will cost $20 for ages 4-16 and $30 for ages 17 and older. Children 3 and under may participate for free.
T-shirts and race medals are included for all registered participants except for day-of-race signups, where they are not guaranteed. Children 3 and under will not receive a shirt or medal. Chula Vista Champions 5K set for October 25.
