BREAKING: ADU Item Pulled from Today's Agenda

In a last-minute decision during today's (San Diego) City Council meeting, Council President LaCava pulled the ADU Amendment item from today's Agenda.
At the end of the meeting, Council President LaCava explained that the item was pulled because Councilmember Campbell — one of the five Councilmembers who were in favor of the amendments — was not in attendance.
Anything short of 5 votes would have killed the proposal altogether.
Council is not in session next week, but we expect the ADU amendments to be back on the Agenda on July 14th or 15th.
We will share updates as they are available.
Unfortunately, this allows time for more ADU projects to be approved under the existing, excessive Bonus ADU code.
