Boy Mistakenly Runs Wrong Race but Wins It Anyway

A nine-year-old boy named Kade Lovell surprised everyone when he accidentally won a 10K race.

According to The Runner Journal, Kade had signed up for a 5K race in Minnesota but mistakenly followed the sign for the 10K route. Instead of stopping or turning back, he kept running and ended up crossing the finish line first, beating all the adult competitors.

The mix up happened when a volunteer accidentally directed him onto the wrong course during the St. Francis Franny Flyer race.

Despite the confusion, Kade completed the full 10 kilometers and won the title, leaving spectators amazed at his endurance and determination.

His mother, meanwhile, was panicked when she could not find him at the 5K finish line, only to discover that he had run twice the distance and won.
