Bonitafest Twilight Parade Starts at Rohr Park Horse Arena This Saturday
The Bonitafest Twilight Parade will depart at 6PM Saturday—September 12th—from the Rohr Park Horse Arena. The entrance address is 4741 Sweetwater Road and the entrance looks like the photo above.
If you have a horse to ride or walk, meet at the arena between 5:00 and 5:30. Bonita Valley Horsemen, Tijuana River Valley Equestrian Association, Lakeside Frontier Riders, Sunnyside Saddle Club and all the Charros have been invited to ride. Backyard horse owners are also invited as is anyone who would like to walk.
The 2026 Bonitafest VIPs will participate in the parade and they will be riding in the golf carts. This year's VIPs are as follows:
Grand Marshall: Kat Shaw
Historian: Susan Heavilin
Pioneer: Dolly Engen
Humanitarians: Rose Davis and Isabel Caballero
Host and Hostess: Michael & Stephanie Leaf
Youth Ambassadors: Dalia Candelario, Alfonso Julian Camacho, Alec Zelaya & Nova Elago-Edwards
The parade will land at the Bonita Museum and Cultural Center where the Performing Arts Festival will take place. If you don't want to join in the parade, please meet us at the Museum and watch the parade arrive!
