Bonita Means Beautiful . . . Please Help Keep It That Way

Have you noticed all the trash lately? It seems to be everywhere, except in the trash cans.

The photo above is of trash strewn along a Bonita roadside.

Here's more just dumped out a car window maybe. I passed a whole pile of garbage bags and miscellaneous trash as I was driving that appeared to be tossed out of a moving car.

A few days ago an entire sectional sofa was left by the side of the road . . . who is supposed to take care of that?

I try to pick it up when I see it but I must say, this is getting old.

The local business owners are having problems with excess trash, also. I've spoken with a few who have seen people bring their trash from home and fill up the business' trash cans that are provided for customer use.

7-Eleven at the corner of Bonita and Frisbie had to pull in their trash cans in about three months ago because they couldn't keep up with all the additional trash overflowing their receptacles. This was not from customers, but from people bringing their refuse from home.

Here's 7-Eleven now . . . not a trash can in sight.

A few inconsiderate people are ruining it for others.

Any ideas?
