Beginning the New Year with a Dazzling Light Display

This past weekend, I attended the San Diego Botanical Garden's "Lightscape 2025." Unaware of what I was getting into, I quickly caught on and throughly enjoyed the walk through a magical light show.

Basically, you saunter through a mile-long path of light artistry and corresponding music. It takes about an hour to an hour and-a-half and it's a great way to spent time with family or friends.

It was hosted by the 37-acre San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas and this year was its fourth year.

Young and old will enjoy this beautiful stroll enhanced by the yummy hot chocolate or coffee along the way.

Lightscape concluded this weekend but I just wanted to give you a heads up so you'll know to look for tickets at the end of 2026.

It was really magnificent and I encourage you to attend Lightscape 2026. We've decided to make it our annual family celebration!
