2 Storage Facilities in Less Than 2 Miles

ree

We do not need two Self-Storage Facilities on Quarry Road, only 1.7 miles apart. Don't build a new storage facility at 5780 Quarry Road in Bonita because a storage facility at 6260 Quarry Road in Spring Valley already exists. This is not necessity but pure greed!

It makes no sense that we would need two self-storage facilities in close proximity. So it makes me wonder . . . is there another plan in the works? The County recently lost their battle with building tiny homes for the homeless to sleep in Spring Valley. The project moved to Lemon Grove whose residents weren't having any part of it either.

Cal Matters reported on May 23, 2024 that "Newsom promised 1,200 tiny homes for homeless Californians. A year later, none have opened"

These Self-Storage Facilities strongly resemble the above pictured tiny homes. In fact, the Bonita Self-Storage Facilities would allow for larger homes, 1,023 of them. Pretty close to Governor Newsom's target number, wouldn't you say? Look at the project name:  Secure Space Self-Storage Bonita . . . Interesting, isn't it? It could be repurposed for something that would be an nightmare for Bonita-Sunnyside residents. Is Bonita now in the cross hairs? This idea is something strongly to be considered.

The time to speak up is NOW. Before it is TOO LATE.
